The place is at Battery Plus Bulbs in Port Charlotte Florida. The guys that work there were outstanding! I've had a couple of strokes and I couldn't even read the type of watch battery that I needed with a magnifying glass. One of the guys that work there just knew instantly what the battery was just by looking at it. They sold me the batteries, offered to put them in but I needed something to do so I installed the batteries myself at home. I bought four batteries for 16 bucks! You can't beat that and like I said those guys were outstanding! Merry Christmas !

Very easy transaction, I ordered 1 item on line, on the 24th of Dec, Then on Dec 27th before I went to pick up the Item, I called and ordered another item. When I got there everything was waiting in 1 package, and all i had to do was pay the difference and I was on my way. Very nice employees.

Most friendly people and very smart, they fixed my phone in less then an hour and it comes with a 6 month warranty on the workmanship on it, what an amazing place. I also found out they do lifetimes on watches and key fobs for 20$ that's such a deal!  I will be coming back and telling everyone about this place

A Duracell 12-9NB battery for a emergency back-up generator was purchased 10/6/2021.This battery failed after 5 months and would not take a charge. It was used 3 times to start the generator and was on a trickle charge the entire time in a garage. Batteries and Bulbs Store #451 in Port Charlotte Fl did not honor the 1 year warranty stating “abuse” and offered to sell me a new battery.

Ken, The published warranty details the coverage of a defect in manufacturing, impacting performance. Routine maintenance and charging are required to optimize performance, and sustain the power characteristics of the battery. In most cases, this occurs through routine use in an application with a functioning charging system. In other scenarios, an external charging source is required. Failure due to excessive discharge would not be considered a defect. As the battery arrived in an extreme discharge state (approximately 4 Volts), warranty coverage would not apply. Ran in here to get a new battery for my car key. Found out that they have all kinds and the you can get a 2 year battery for $9.99 or a life time battery exchange guarantee for $14.99.  While I was waiting for the battery to be changed I decided to ask if they make keys and not just any keys I needed one of those new.   Fangled  keys that has the computer in it or whatever so that it can start the car properly. At the dealership it's going to cost $200 or more. But to my surprise they make them.  You could get the key it's  $29.99 then it needs to be programed to your key and car which they do by accessing the information over the Internet for your year and model of car . That's just for a key no battery powered  clicker . If you want one with the clicker you will have to pay about $140 to $170.  Still a bargain.  While I was there a ton of people were coming in and out getting everything from battery's for watches to battery's for their cars. Everyone I talked to and I pretty much talked to them all while I waited ,said this is the best place that they always come here for any kind of battery  or  light purchase.  Most had the guarantee lifetime service and the workers there always exchanged their batteries with no problems . Every one seemed to be happy they did business here. So I highly recommend the Batteries Plus Bulbs stores.

I purchased a battery for my Harley a little over a month ago from Batteries Plus, and since then have rode the bike probably a dozen times. The young employee took me my charger won't charge the battery because it only had 8 volts. It will charge  at 8 volts and there's no short as I've ride it a dozen times. He also patronized me as I left, with my dead battery. My first bad experience  here.

Terrible staff. Drive 35 min for the guy to say my Amazon key fob I bought can’t be programmed and I called and asked if they could do it and he said yes and never said it’s $100.00 bucks whether it works or not.

Our store offers fobs that have been quality tested, and are backed with a warranty for performance. Due to the unknown, varying levels in the quality of fobs purchased online (from an unknown source), performance cannot be assured and warranty cannot be extended. Just sayin', this is the ONLY place I go for car batteries! They are awesome! Went in last night with battery issues. (Yes, I bought the battery there.) So Shawn ( what a sweetheart) took such good care of us! Left with a new battery,  (covered,)and done with laughs and humor!  Great, great place! You won't be  disappointed.
