  My partner brought my boots to Ardmore to get them fixed as a surprise for my birthday. He didn't realize that I had a vision for them and wanted to talk to the repair person prior to work being done. Once he told me what he'd done, we quickly called and Barbie answered the phone. She was pleasant, kind and understanding to the situation. They stopped the repair immediately and waited for me to come in to discuss details. Upon entering the cute shop, located very conveniently on a 3 road intersection and easy to get to, I was immediately wowed by a cool old shoe repair machine they had on display and a gorgeous emerald green velvet couch. Barbie came out and spoke to me about what they had already done and what could be done from that point on. My initial thoughts were to put a thick platform sole on the boots but I also wanted durability. Both Barbie and even her partner took the time to explain all the options, what soles are good and even how the boots themselves were made and WHY. They were extremely patient while doing so, as I had many questions. In the end I agreed to a thinner, more durable sole because I work in them as well. They quoted about 2 weeks, being busy from the holidays. They called me LESS THAN A WEEK later to let me know my boots were finished! Also, to my astonishment and delight, they added a thicker midsole(?) to give me more of that platform feel I thought I had to sacrifice! I absolutely LOVE how they turned out and am so pleased to have given these sweet and knowledgeable humans my business. I have a large boot collection and will most assuredly be coming back!

  Excellent customer service, and beautiful work. Needed a 2 inch lift on my shoes. What a great job they did,and they were fast. I will only use Ardmore for any services need . Very nice people. I highly recommend Ardmore. Thank you very much.

  I just really have to stress how incredible my experience was today with David and his beautiful wife. It’s such a blessing to come in contact with such beautiful spirits who provided excellent service!! And now that David was able cut my heels 👠 down I will be able to walk with confidence!
