  The place is a treasure to people interested in antique locks. She was waiting on another customer when I arrived, so I looked around. It was like a museum. Once it was my turn she spent time looking for the correct blank for my security door key and was able to find a blank small enough like I needed. I have had other locksmiths make keys for me and the used a regular house key blank which is awkward to fit and turn in the door frame. They will be my go to for locks.

  Great service, great price. A mom and pop shop that is really appreciated. I highly recommend going here for any key needs. Boy was I wrong about this place. I went in to get a key made for Honda Civic and they did not have one in the store, but the Reno one did. I got a call today that it made it over to the Sparks store and they could make the key for me today. They close at 5pm, I got there at 4:50pm. Now I am from a generation where making a large sale was worth staying a little late. This salesman did not. It would take 15 to 20 minutes to cut the key and he was not willing to stay. Now if you are open to 5, and a customer arrives at 10 minutes to 5 you are still open. Not at Andy's. They don't care about the customer, just getting out of the office at closing time. It might just be me but I was rather disappointed and will not be spending any more money there.

  All I can say is they do the job right and had great customer service as well. I would recommend Andy's Lock and key to family and friends. Thank you!!
