  I was referred to Albany Lock & Key after calling around for help with my safe that has been jammed for a couple of weeks. After consulting with Tim, he was able to provide me with enough over-the-phone assistance that I was able to open my safe back up. Their willingness to work with me over the phone (instead of just coming out and charging me for what turned out to be a simple problem) really shows me that Albany Lock & Key actually cares about their customers and prioritizes helping people over making a quick buck.   Came in to get a universal key copy for a Skytrak telehandler 6042.. "Big forklift with 4 wheel steering, 6000 lb lift cap. and 42 ft boom extension. Locksmith said he had never seen a forklift key before. He tried hard and wasted several blamks. but after going down the road i had one in 2 minutes... If youre reading this please order "ilco 1642" blanks.

  Very trustworthy business. Helpful from first phone call where they kindly accepted texted pictures of door lock problem and diagnosed the problem and determined solution and let me know exactly how much it would cost. Came to my house on time and very efficiently repaired my lock which was impossible for me to fix on my own. Friendly and happy to answer any and all questions I had. It’s so reassuring to know honest and hard working locally owned trades-businesses like this still exist!
