Locksmith in West Haven did not use  the  cover  around  the  new  key lock..I  came  to  Kevin  shop  and  I  found  what  I  need  it...It  looks best....Thanks...!!!

The best locksmith in town!!!!  My husband lost his duplicate key to his work truck.  Kevin produced a duplicate within 2-3 minutes. In order to program this specific key, Kevin needed access to the truck which was impossible.  So Kevin went above and beyond, took the time out of his day to walk my husband through programming his new truck key via phone.  What an amazing experience.  Thank you Preferred Locksmith!!!

Awesome Experience!  Took a chance based on Google Reviews and was not disappointed.  I called to schedule a next day appointment and spoke with Kevin.  I explained upfront that I was unsure the exact service I needed with a door lock.  He  asked me to text a picture of the lock which I did when I returned to my office.  He responded promptly and even though it was past his operating hours asked whether I was still in my office and available.  He resolved my issue so quickly I was able to make it to another appointment earlier than expected.  In addition he offered helpful information.  This was definitely a positive experience and I recommend A Preferred Locksmith without hesitation.  I think Kevin is no-nonsense, professional and takes pride in his work.  I can appreciate that.  I think in dealing with him you either have to know what service you want or let him know that you need his assistance in determining what you need.  He clearly knows his craft.  If you're expecting hand holding and 30 min conversation.... You might think he's being rude, but I think he wants to determine the issue and how to resolve it quickly and efficiently, so I was definitely impressed and have already forwarded his business info to someone. I was quoted $35 for  a 2015 Suburban key and $10 for programming a FOB.  I sent one of my employees to get the key and program the FOB and the total on the credit card was $130.

Hi.  The price you were quoted was for a circle plus key which is $35 dollars and another $10 to program your remote.  However, the car key that your employee brought in was a high security GM key.  Your employee was quoted a price between $120-$140 to have it done.  He was told the difference between both keys and he told us to go ahead with it.  Perhaps your employee should have checked with you prior to giving us the okay.  We never do a job without providing customers with a quote and getting their approval to do the work.

Absolutely fabulous experience! My car was stolen, with house keys...A Preferred Locksmith understood the urgency of re-keying 6 doors, and came out on a Sunday morning. Polite, professional, proficient! Josh was in and out in a very short time, at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend him!

I had new safe put installed in my house.  The guys were professional, clean, neat, efficient and very friendly.  I felt as though I have known them forever.
