  The best locksmith for key repairs and replacement. I went to them to repair my honda Accord key with the chip &she was very informative &helped me choose the best choice for me. They are very reasonable priced. Definitely go check them out for all key needs.

  This is my 4th visit to Louisiana and I've finally met rudeness here! I have now figured out why I've never seen a customer car in this parking lot. They are rude and condescending. I went to have a key fob that had to be ordered programmed and they wouldn't do it because my fob may have been a bad fake and could have damaged their machine. I paid a lot for the one that had to be ordered and it was ordered from a reputable vendor... he said he could sell me a penny for 3000.00. So I went to American Lock and Key and got the most excellent service! I will tell everyone I know to avoid these people like the plague and go to American!

  Mrs. Lorrie, my apologies that your experience with us was not to your standards. I would like to point out that we have signs posted on the outside as well as inside our building stating, "We do NOT cut/program keys/remotes not purchased through A-1 Key & Lock or a reputable car dealership without a receipt." And yet you came in and kept insisting if we would. When we told you no and explained why you still were not happy and stated you paid over $200 for your fob from a "reputable dealer." When we asked who your "reputable dealer" was you stated a hardware store. I also believe you became even more upset hearing the fact that we could have provided you a fobik and programmed it after tax for about $30-$40 less. But we are thrilled to hear that American Key & Lock could take such wonderful care of you.
