  I have been shopping at Thurmonds since I came to the town back on 07. It has been under new ownership since about August 2016, so I do not understand why Wendy has a problem with Ms. Fran when she no longer works or owns the company. The new owner Michael is nice and always willing to order parts or equipment even if the warehouse does not carry it. The manager Shawna will bend over backwards to make sure the customer leaves happy, So if you ever have a problem just find Shawna.

  I worked here at the age of 16 for about six months I was trained to sell appliances being a cashier and keep the floor stocked, I also did telemarketing selling satellites and which I sold over 600 within less than 2 months simply by calling people out of the Holmes County phone book and anever received a commission I mailed mailers took care of plants and the last part of my job was training a lady and the day they felt that she was fully trained they laid me off and said that I wasn't subject for a recall I believe myself that this is quite a slap-in-the-face considering all the work I had put in not to mention training than lady to my standards just to have her take my job. The owner of the company Fran Thurmond ended up asking me why I hadn't come and babysit her grandchildren after she got rid of me and my personal thinking is that if I'm not good enough for your company then why should I be good enough to keep your spoiled brats whom you've taught no manners and have never disciplined a day in their life.
