I thought Floyd did a great job.  I was always able to reach someone.  Now with Per Mar taking over Floyd, you can never reach anyone.  You always need to leave a message and they do not return your call.  They e-mailed and said the best way to reach them is through e-mail.  I don't want to do that.  I want to speak to someone. I'm very disappointed and plan to search for another company.

The equipment works well. Some of the employees who carried over from Floyd continue to provide good service. However, since Floyd became Per Mar, the general level of service and responsiveness is lacking. I have called on three separate occasions for different reasons, and each time was told someone would call me back shortly on that same day. Each time, I had to call back myself. One time I had to call back three times over the course of two days before the ticket was escalated to "critical" which is apparently what's needed to get someone to call back. Even then it took a full day. Floyd was far more responsive, always resolving issues immediately.

Several times we had the alarm go off (accidentally thankfully) and they never called.  In discussions with Per Mar they said they'd have a tech guy call and schedule a home appointment - nobody ever called.  After calling back twice to find out what was happening I only got voice mails - no one EVER called me back.  NOW...after cancelling they will not refund the balance of the last payment.  Multiple emails and all I get is "a credit will be made to your credit card" and now it's the ol' standard "the check is in the mail".    RUN don't walk away from Per Mar

Moved to the cities 4 years ago and decided it would be a great idea to install a security system so after a bit of research we decided on Floyd’s Security. They were amazing. Always quick to answer any questions and make any fixes to the system if there was a problem. Then they decided to sell and along comes Per Mar Security. Since they have taken over I’ve had nothing but problems. System failures, taking forever to get back to you, making excuses, technicians that don’t know the system, having to deal with someone over the phone that’s out of state who can’t help, and just all around not the company they bought out. I recommend if you need security then avoid these guys like the plague.

We purchased a business that was using Per Mar Security.  We have been calling for a month to get an account set up and take over the security services for the business.  People either don't return my phone calls or follow up. I'm extremely frustrated and don't recommend this company.
