  It’s Papenhausen what else is there to say. Always helpful and has what one needs for about any DIY projects you have going on! IMHO it’s the best local hardware store in SF.

  Support local small businesses!! They now have curb pick up parking right in front. I always check here before going to a big box shop. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have everything you would need for small home improvements. Also some cute shop items for gifts in the front. They are a clean and well organized store. If you are doing more of a commercial job, you won't find what you need here. But they have most everything an everyday homeowner could need. I'd love more of a selection in the garden section too. But I always call here first!

  Very friendly and helpful staff! I don’t dabble with home improvement projects often, so it’s awesome being able to get advice from the staff here, especially if I don’t know what I’m doing. Bonus: they have good COVID-19 precautions in place (like limiting number of people in the store, plexiglass panes over the checkout counters, directional markers down the aisles, and stickers to tell you were to stand, etc.), so I feel safe going in.
