I've been a loyal customer for years. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and you will be surprised at all the hard to find items that they keep in stock. Their prices are competitive and Alan, his son Dave, his co-workers Aires and Tyrone are the best.

The staff at Monarch are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The hardest thing often is for me is to accurately describe my problem so they can find a solution. Not expensive either. I strongly recommend them over Home Depot or Lowe's.

Very knowledgeable staff. Store has a variety of products for the experienced as well as the inexperienced do it yourselfers. From drywall repair needs to cement to different color pens for repairing scratches in wood furniture. They also make keys. Floor wax to spruce up those dull hardwoods. this cool family-owned store has been around for literally a century. good prices and friendly staff, totally better than a big box store. shop local!!

Everything you might look for in hardware store of its size, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They don't carry lawn mowers, tractors, or other large items you might find in huge places like Lowe's or Home Depot, but in twenty years I've found they have just about every hardware item I've needed for my apartment, at reasonable prices.

Great purchasing experience. Helpful employees who are willing to talk you through anything you may think you need!

Super friendly dudes! They’re always friendly + patient, and have been helpful when I’ve come in needing help with finding specific things.

They also have good prices, especially considering it’s such a small little spot, so you wouldn’t necessarily expect them to be competitively priced. They have a good selection as well— again, don’t be fooled by its size bc the store is packed with a wide array of both convenient + specific things you may need.

I live nearby and there’s usually a constant stream of cars + people swinging by. Definitely not hard to see why they’re so popular!

These guys are super helpful! Merchandise at a good price point too. I went in to get keys copied, asked to buy some plastic fasteners that they didn’t actually sell, and the guy behind the counter handed me a couple from his own stash. Knowledgeable, friendly, super helpful … spend your money here!

These folks went out of their way to help me out with replacing my locks. Dwayne is a supportive teacher, and I was totally prepared to go home and work out the tools on my own! Everyone is friendly in this store, and they will have everything you need. If they don't, they know what you need and where you can go to get it. Wonderful!
