Best customer service I got in years Renee in paint department is a angel she helped me for 2 days and it didn't work out to my satisfaction so went back today Renee and Paul the store manager worked for a hr to make sure I got the correct color I was looking for. Over the last weekend  I needed a few items for replacing a sink adding a garbage disposal and dishwasher into the kitchen where there wasn't one before including all new PVC drains. Mark and Alan help several times with parts and advice. All worked out fantastic due to their experience and knowledge.

Would do zero stars if it were possible. I was a frequent customer here. I was deliberately offended by staff. I will not ever be back. They certainly don't have a monopoly on hardware in this area. I don't understand why a business like this one, in an area like this one, would want to deliberately offend a regular customer like this one. I thought I was supporting a small business, and I do like to do that. I still can, Ace Hardware is just down Harper one way, and Gilbert's the other way.

Very well ran business.  If you need help or a question answered they have the staff to help and not just a generic answer but the right answer.  I had ask one of the employees about a special electric breaker and rather than just giving me the brush off answer he said sir I am not familiar with this specific breaker let me get one of our guys that has alot of knowledge in electrical items . And just that quick he came back with a employee that knew exactly what I needed and gave me info on another problem that we had. Then both ask if I needed anything else . I thought was this just me or do they treat everone like this so I looked around the store for about 15 mins and saw the same scenario play out several times .  DeRonne hardware is a true hometown gem.

I stopped into DeRonne's to check their gardening products and I wish I had done it sooner!
They carry products that the big box and garden nurseries don't have.. like a LARGE variety of grass seed for unique situations, bulk seed, specialized weed & grass killer, additives, milky spore, moss control, bug control, and the largest selection of gardening gloves and rat traps (also bait) I've found locally. It's a gold mine for specialized lawn care, and the staff, including management was friendly and helpful.
I'll definitely be returning!

This is my nearest hardware. 1/4 mile away, pay a bit more for the convenience. But it has gotten to the point of service, I drive 1 mile to ACE or Home Depot now. Tired of going in, finding empty shelves, empty pegs. Last time there, found half of what I was looking for, don't expect anyone to ask you if you need help here, should turn this into one of those social venues. last day i shopped there, walk in, ALL 6 employees standing at front counter. 2 on phones, 2 talking, 2 at registers. Looked for what I needed, found 1 item out of 4. Now, empty pegs was there, not sure how much backroom stock is available, but didn't bother to ask  . If every employee was standing at front, I would guess all merchandise was on floor. Dave, we had this conversation last year. Don't blame covid. I have spent about $800 at Home Depot, things I could have gotten here. Will not shop here again, till I see, " under new management " posted.  Not sure who is the manager, but I guess no one. Recommend here,  if you are desperate.THIS IS NOT DUE TO COVID, THIS IS LACK OF MANAGEMENT. ACE SHELVES ARE FULLY STOCKED. DAVE AND I HAD THIS CONVERSATION 2 YEARS AGO. LACK LUSTER REPLY, NOT ADDRESSING THE PROBLEM, EMPLOYEES IS THE PROBLEM.

Unfortunately, during an unprecedented pandemic, certain products are difficult to come by. Manufacturing has stalled in many sectors and some shipping is at a standstill. Every month brings new challenges. Dave travels throughout the Midwest to procure products for our stores. Our shelves are not empty. Our prices are fair and competitive with local hardware stores and big box stores. Our crew is ready and willing to help. We hope that the future brings better product availability for all businesses and also sunnier days for you. Take care.

Was told masks are optional at this store.  Staff and customers alike feel they are above everyone else. Not sure what makes them so special but I walked out,  leaving my purchase on the counter. No respect, no purchase. I have spent thousands in this store over the past 10 years. Taking my money elsewhere.
