  Ricky helped me out on the fly. He happened to be returning to the shop and figured out how to program a new Jag key. He even had me test new key and original before I left to ensure I was satisfied. He also saved me some money compared to what the dealership wanted to charge. I would highly recommend.

  Ricky did a great job installing new locks for our small business. We had three doors with all different keys. He was able to replace them so all doors worked under the same key as we requested. Was installed in efficient timing with great quality locks. Reasonable price as well, and respected the requirements needed to be safe during COVID-19. Thanks Ricky!

  I left a voicemail and Ricky returned the call within 5 minutes. I explained the problem I was having with my home door locks and Ricky immediately suggested I could save the price of a service call by removing one of the locks and bringing it into the store for him to work on it which I thought was very nice however I did not want to mess with it so we set up an appointment for him come to my house the next day. Ricky showed up exactly on time with his mobile workshop van. He quickly diagnosed the problem removed the lock and made new master keys right in his van. All the new keys worked perfectly! I also inquired about replacing the old lock on my outer security door as we never had a key for it. Ricky said he could install a new lock and key it to my front door key so I would not need to carry another key. That was great because the lock on the security door was nothing like the lock on my front door. He had the exact new parts I needed right in his van and was able to fit the new lock into my security door even though it was slightly larger than the original cheap lock that was originally on the door. All the work was completed within 45 minutes. Ricky was extremely professional and polite explaining everything, including the costs, as he went along. If you need a quality locksmith Carpinteria Lock & Key is the place to go!
