  I worked with a young man by the name of Richie Alexa. He works in the custom screen department. I had put in an order a few months back and there was some mix up In The orders and no one’s fault just a clerical error. The management at the store was just wonderful and Richie took it upon himself to continue to follow up with me and make sure that my order was taken care of. I have always been a Lowes shopper but because a of the extraordinary customer care that Ace Hardware provided to me as a home owner I will take my business to the Austin Bluffs location In Colorado Springs. Thank you Richie and thank you for the management and great customer care that makes you feel welcome and they care about your needs. This is the neighborhood friendly business that we all need.

  Went to find what the appropriate floor paint for concrete board floor in an art studio. Can’t quite remember both of their names, but I came in near closing time and was very pleased with their costumer service. I believe it was Ron or Rob, who works in the back, but had thorough paint department experience, who helped me find the correct paint and was very accommodating despite being near closing time. Thank you for the help! The project went well!

  Went in with my portable lightbox, something I've used for more than 40 years. One of the bulbs had burned out after all this time. Mark took it apart and ordered what I needed. But at the same time, Mark explained why the old lightbox is so well made. He called me a few days later when the bulbs came in and installed them for me. This time, Mark remembered that fluorescent lights didn't go on right away: the gas had to heat up. Love those anecdotes. Love Ace Hardware.
