Absolutely Awesome folks! I brought them 3 lock  mechanisms from the storage compartments on my Skoolie conversion. (#gypsysouls_143) I was asked if I could leave them and come back when ready! The mechanisms were coroaded/rusty a bit from no recent usage, Richard took the time to lubricate them and make me new keys! They worked great now! They called me back an hour later saying they were ready!
Thank You Richard for the prompt turnaround. I will post to all my Skoolie/RV friends & community the great service I received!

Best customer service I've seen in years. I'm a locksmith from another city and had to stop in for parts. I was treated amazingly. Anyone in the Lakeland area should use them.

I own a business that needed repair to the storefront door locking mechanism which interfaces with an electronic access control system.  I was referred to Access Safe & Lock so I looked at their website and saw things like "Commercial is our specialty!" and "Maybe you don't know, but we do access control systems. Card readers, digital entry ...".

I called and explained how the paddle to unlock the door kept getting stuck so the door was not locking. They originally wanted to schedule the call for next week but when I reminded them that my front door wasn't locking, they prioritized my request and John was here in less than 15 minutes.  Was very happy at this point.

John, the locksmith, kept minimizing the issue and assuming what the problem was with the locking mechanism so it took me some effort to get him to understand the problem.  He put everything back together again and felt it was fixed. The first time I opened the door, the same problem happened. John's reaction was to ask me what I did!  I didn't do anything out of the ordinary (he was standing there as I opened the door!). After that example, the door mechanism didn't get stuck again but the door is still not locking automatically.

Much to my surprise, John explained that I would have to get someone else to finish working on the door because they don't do electronic access control systems!  I printed out their website and showed him what it says.  He didn't have an answer - and obviously he wasn't the person who misrepresented the company.

So I ended up having to pay $100 for service to a door that is still not locking on its own.  Poor customer service and total misrepresentation of their business offerings.

Sorry you were unhappy, but this was a misunderstanding. We DID NOT misrepresent in any way. We DO WORK on access control. Your issue had to do with your electronic automatic door operator. We DO NOT work on electronic automatic door operators due to the liability of injury they pose to patrons. They open and shut the door, but do not prevent or allow access. In this situation, your door operator was not allowing the door to close all the way, thereby not latching. It had NOTHING to do with your lock or your access control equipment. We rearranged our schedule to get to you in 15 minutes that day due to your emergency. I'm not sure you'd have gotten an ambulance there that fast had you called one. Our tech even took the time to take the door lock apart to make sure there was not issue with the paddle assembly / lock. Though our tech may not have explained well enough, he was trying to tell you that it had nothing to do with the lock or the access control. It was the electronic automatic door operator causing the problem. There was nothing else we could do so we charged you the minimum service call charge for the work we did do and referred you to an electronic automatic door operator company.
You never even called the office to tell us there was an issue, you just went straight to Google and gave us a bad review. You never gave me the opportunity to explain. Very unfair to us.
We have been in business for 25 years and have a great reputation.

I called you after I became aware of your review. You admitted to me when I called you, that you called someone else and that the problem actually WAS with your electronic automatic door operator (which they adjusted).

Again, sorry you had a bad experience, I just wish you had given me a chance to explain before you posted this negative review. Should this situation have been the other way around, I think you would have wanted the opportunity to address the situation.

I came in looking to get a key made and they didn't have it but he ordered it tgat day and called me when it was ready. Great service

I'm sorry you had that experience. I wish you had called so I could have figured out who the driver was and taken action.  We certainly do not condone that kind of driving. It could have even been a mechanic on a test drive. The number you noted is a license number which is identical on all our vehicles.
